Tulips = All Happiness!!!

Oh man do I have a treat for you tonight.  Unless you don’t like tulips.  But I think you do.  

 

So last Wednesday, I took a break from my routine and went on an adventure.  I convinced another unemployed lady (who has a car and isn’t scared of driving) to go with me.  We went to the Tulip Festival, a month-long annual event in Skagit Valley.  Skagit Valley is about an hour north of Seattle.  The thing about the Tulip Festival is that it is unenjoyable due to crowds on weekends.  I’ve heard horror stories like a one hour trip turning into a six-hour trip.  Since in previous years I couldn’t get away during the week or on the weekends, I really wanted to go this year.  I LOVE tulips!!!
